Industrial Music Crosses Over to Recovery In a Surprising Way

Industrial rock music has always been more rebellious, but this has been evolving. There is this really cool recovery rock I saw by Matt Soren the other day that has a new twist on electro-rock. His album is a mix of industrial rock and the process of knocking out addiction.

There are some song previews at his website at www.returnfrombroken.com. It appears like they are provisional while wrapping up mastered recordings. They sound really good to me but I am no audiophile. It is cool to find more industrial rock like this written directly for addiction recovery in a more satisfying way from a person that has already been through it and is making a difference for others in addiction. Plus It’s nice to see this type of rock stemming from the industrial outlet which is usually more rebellious in nature. Nice!

In addition, he has free tracks you can get from his site and more in his insiders area which is free. I also saw discounts, album art, and other stuff. It will be nice to hear the album once it is available. Good stuff!
