German Shepherd
German shepherds are also referred to as GSD, these dogs are extremely powerful dogs. Whilst these dogs aren’t huge, they are very formidable creatures. You’ll by no means get this sensation whenever you see a St Bernard even though it is two or three times larger when compared to the German Shepherd. The German shepherd appears even more extraordinary than it really is due to the powerful way its body is designed. It is because it tends to have a bigger bone framework than other dogs its size. Whilst the hair around the neck does stand up a bit, it is not a ruff. This breed on the whole, is quite an impressive one.
This dog is longer than it is tall. This is a dog which is relaxed while simultaneously is alert, prepared for anything in the way he puts all his weight on his haunches. This breed of dog is rear centric, what this implies is that their hind legs is what provides them with the energy common to these dogs. This has led to a separate line of dogs being bred in which the haunches are lower than the withers. This is also believed to be the cause of hip issues in these dogs.
